Cashier/Admin Assistant - Redruth Office
We’re looking for a motivated Cashier/Admin Assistant to join our Redruth office. This role is ideal for recent A-level graduates in accounting, individuals in further education, or those with practical experience in cashiering or accounting. Full training is provided, making this a great entry-level opportunity with growth potential.
Role Details:
Work Hours: 9:00 am - 5:15 pm, Monday to Friday, totalling 36.25 hours per week. We offer flexible arrangements, including a 4-day week or split hours over 5 days, to support work-life balance (minimum 25 hours).
Salary: £22,000 to £30,000 per year (based on full-time hours, 36.25 per week), depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Management: Use Microsoft Office, Osprey Approach, and other software platforms for data entry and file management.
Cashiering Tasks: Handle basic accounting functions, client requisitions, postings, and banking software operations.
Administrative Support: Assist with file management, GDPR compliance, and administrative tasks for the Practice Manager.
AML Compliance: Support internal AML procedures and CDD checks with full training provided.
Key Attributes:
Organized and Calm Under Pressure: Effective time management and task prioritization.
Communication Skills: Clear, professional interaction with clients and team members.
Microsoft Office Proficiency: Basic experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
What We Offer:
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm, Graduate, with flexibility options.
Salary Range: £22,000 to £24,000 per year, with a yearly bonus (based on full-time hours of 36.25 per week).

Our offices will be closed for the festive period from 5.15 pm on Friday 22nd December 2023. We will re-open at 9.00 am on Tuesday 4th January 2023.
Any urgent matters will need to be brought to our attention no later than Friday 15th December or they will be handled when we re-open.
