The Grow Box
In September 2021 we took over the reins at The Grow Box. Many of you will already know Martin who has been a butcher since September 2020 and I joined the team in April 2021.
I’m a Cornish girl, born and raised in Redruth and Martin has been living in Cornwall since 2001. (We keep it quiet, but he’s from across the border in Devon).
We live in Redruth with our three children Max., Kensa and Jacca.
Our background is very much within the food and drink business. We met 26 years ago whilst working at Gidleigh Park in Devon and continued working in fine dining establishments before venturing into managing pubs. Deciding to concentrate on our family we needed a less hectic pace of life, so l moved into working behind the scenes at St Austell Brewery and Martin worked as a head chef before retraining as a butcher.
Taking over The Grow Box seems like a natural step for us as we both love food and being part of the local community.
