Cashier and Admin Assistant

We are seeking a Cashier/Admin Assistant based out of our fast-paced Redruth office.  Full Training will be provided to the right candidate, this role would be perfectly suited to those just completing A-levels in accounting or those currently completing further education at a Masters or Degree level. It would also suit someone without qualifications but with experience of working in a Cashiers/Accounting office.

The role is somewhat flexible to the right candidate. Starting at a minimum of 3 days per week (21.75 Hours) worked either as 3 full days or split over 4/5 days. The days are flexible somewhat, however during the initial period, Thursdays & Fridays would be required as training days. The role could extend to fulltime depending upon the candidate.

- Data entry & Management using Microsoft word applications & bespoke Customer Management System (Osprey Approach) & other 3rd party systems.

- Cashier roles, basic understanding of accounting calculations, client requesisitons, postings and banking software.

- Administration support, admin tasks on Client files and for Practice Manager, understanding of client confidentiality and GDPR regulations

- Anti-Money Laundering, working to assist with data entry and crosschecking on Identity checks of clients and associated parties.

Key attributes:

  • Calm under pressure, ability to prioritise and time manage effectively.

  • Good communication is key between staff and clients.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word & Excel).

This role will involve reporting to the Practice Manager.

Salary: From £11,785.02 per year
