Street, Redruth, Cornwall, TR15 2BY
If you would like to speak to Mrs Moran before making a formal

Personal Applications only please. Employment and recruitment
agents play a useful part in the market but having too many links in
the chain leads to delay, error and unnecessary expense. We
will be creating a personal relationship. It should start with
a personal approach.
Please therefore make your approach direct, as we will reject
approaches made through an agent.
Apart from the other practical reasons, we prefer to use the large
sum otherwise payable to an agent for the benefit of the business.
We also find that agents do not always describe you very accurately,
in some cases this is because they have not actually met you or had
much communication with you. In some cases they are trying too
hard to tailor the description to suit what they (mis)-understand to
be our requirements.
An honest direct approach is much more likely to be successful.
If you are already with an agent then you will have to make your own
arrangements. In any event you must make your approach
to us yourself please.
If you
have not prepared a CV before then the following points may be of
use to you:
Your most recent academic or
professional qualifications are of more interest to us than your
school records; it does help to know your genuine interests and
leisure activities; it helps to know what levels of responsibility
you have experienced; persons with whom you have worked are more
valuable referees than eg. school teachers (work may mean actively
participating in running an organisation or doing something else
which is not a direct part of your career); the sorts of jobs for
which you have been looking; your priorities in finding a new post;
evidence of willingness and ability to learn and adapt: full
information on any criminal matters, employment grievances or
disciplinary matters or relating to negligence or other claims
against an employer are essential.
Full confidentiality will be
observed in respect of your present employer until the stage at
which references would be required at a date to be agreed with you.
